Abstract
Knoevenagel and aldol condensations have been reported by a new diamino-fun ctionalised MCM-41 catalyst synthesised by condensation of the trimethoxysi lylpropylethylenediamine on MCM-41. This solid base catalyst is found to be very efficient with reusability for a number of times with consistent acti vity. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
