Abstract
The essential oils of Thymus tosevii ssp. tosevii and Thymus tosevii s sp. substriatus growing wild in Macedonia were investigated by means o f GC and GC-MS. The main components of the oils were thymol, carvacrol , linalool, geraniol, terpenyl acetate, p-cymene and gamma-terpinene. The oil compositions were variable, depending on the origin and the ye ar of plant collection.
