In this paper we examine the effects of varying ion temperature with consta
nt electron temperature on the Lyman-alpha intensity ratios for a small adm
ixture of hydrogenlike ions in a high-temperature plasma. We investigate th
e ratios with increasing central electron temperature, change in base plasm
