We demonstrate that one can measure the charge-stripe order parameter in th
e hole-doped CuO2 planes of La1.875Ba0.125CUO4, La-1.48;Nd0.4Sr0.12CuO4, an
d La-1.68 Eu0.2Sr0.12CuO4 utilizing the wipeout effects of Cu-63 nuclear qu
adrupole resonance. Application of the same approach to La2-xSrxCuO4 reveal
s the presence of similar stripe order for the entire underdoped supercondu
cting regime 1/16 less than or similar to x less than or similar to 1/8. [S
