Abstract
The non-empirical model proposed by Staszewka et al. in 1983 for the imagin ary part of the electron scattering optical potential is revised, improving the treatment used for the e(-)-e(-) dispersion. New cross-section calcula tions employing the revised potential are in agreement with available exper imental data for elastic and inelastic processes. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
