Abstract
The formation and stability of the acid-base tetraazaporphyrin complexes wi th organic bases in benzene are considered. Relationship between the struct ure of protolytes and their reactivity is discussed. It is shown that the k inetics and mechanism of intermolecular proton transfer from the tetraazapo rphyrin NH groups to organic bases are governed by the electronic and steri c factors and weakly depend on the medium polarity.
