Abstract
It is shown that the nonlinear equations governing the dynamics of wea kly interacting electromagnetic disturbances in nonuniform magnetoplas mas can be written as a set of three coupled nonlinear equations, whic h are a generalization of the Lorentz-Stenflo equations. The chaotic f luid behavior of electromagnetic turbulence is studied on the basis of the newly derived nonlinear equations. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
