Abstract
Cyclic 2-amidofurans were obtained using a Kh(IH)-catalyzed reaction of alp ha-diazoketo substituted pyrrolidinone derivatives. Acylation followed by a Diels Alder reaction of the resulting amidofuran furnished both inter and intramolecular cycloadducts. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights rese rved.
