Abstract
Asp-hemolysin is a human low density lipoprotein (LDL) binding protein. We found evidence that Asp-hemolysin binds to oxidized LDL (oxLDL) as well as to LDL in a concentration-dependent manner. This result suggests that Asp-h emolysin is a novel protein, which shares binding abilities to LDL and oxLD L.
