Abstract
New steroids, provitamins D, containing 22,24-dioxo, 25-hydroxy-22,24-dioxo , and 26-hydroxy-22,24-dioxo groupings were synthesized by a reductive clea vage of the heterocyclic ring of 20-isoxazolylsteroids.
