Abstract
A novel dinuclear oxovanadium(IV,V) complex, [(VO)(2)(O)(Ph2CHCOO)(2)( bpy)(2)]NO3 . CH3OH (1), has been prepared. X-Ray structural analysis has revealed that 1 has a mu-oxo-bis(mu-carboxylato)-bridged structure . Magnetic susceptibility data for 1 show the paramagnetic behavior wh ich is attributable to the d(1)-d(0) system.
