Abstract
Grimes can be efficiently obtained at room temperature by simply disso lving the appropriate carbonyl compounds and hydroxylamine hydrochlori de, in ethanol, with Amberlyst A-21 as catalyst. Good yields of oximes are obtained, in very short reaction times, even with polifunctionali zed substrates.
