Abstract
Hyperandrogenism in PCOS is best treated by a combination of ovarian suppre ssion and antiandrogens. This article discusses the use of antiandrogens in the medical treatment of PCOS, including spironolactone, cyproterone aceta te, flutamide, and finasteride, and focuses on safe, effective, and low-cos t therapies for hirsutism and androgenetic alopecia.
