Abstract
Two immobilization techniques have been used on metal finishing sludges: so lidification/stabilization as pretreatment to disposal and sintering as reu tilization by incorptoration to ceramic products. The feasibility of both t reatments have been studied using two test methods based on leaching test, suggested by the Spanish and European Community frameworks for assessing th e utilization/disposal.
