Abstract
The polymerization of a humic acid (HA) from a volcanic soil under a Medite rranean oak forest, when exposed to an oxidative. enzyme such as a peroxida se from horseradish was investigated. The polymerization of the HA increase d in the presence of the enzyme in respect to the control solution. The deg ree of HA polymerization was evaluated by High Pressure Size Exclusion Crom atography (HPSEC) and by using a disaggregation technique based on acetic a cid addition to the HA.
