Abstract
1D tomographic inversion of synthetic and field TEM data is considered. Add itional efficiency is obtained by linear approximation for the magnetic fie lds generated by inhomogeneities embedded in a homogeneous medium. The inve rsion problem is accomplished by inversion of a linear system.
