Abstract
Of ten tissues oil horses of the breed Thuringian cold blood and Hafli nger the spleen had the highest and the M. semimembranosus the lowest concentration of DNA. The content of nuclei hr the lung, the liver, th e spleen, the kidney, and the heart was calculated. The biggest wet we ight:DNA-, and protein-DNA-ratio existed in the M. semimembranosus and the smallest in the spleen. The highest concentration of RNA was dete rmined in the liver and the lowest in the M. semimembranosus. The conc entration of protein was high in the M. semimembranosus and low in the cerebellum. The significance of differences of the mentioned paramete rs in the various tissues is discussed.
