Abstract
By optimizing the driving conditions of a high-speed electroabsorption modu lator, we achieved a significant fiber-length extension and dispersion pena lty reduction in a 60-GHz millimeter-wave indoor fiber-optic transmission s ystem. In particular, we demonstrate simultaneous transmission of two 156-M b/s data channels in the 60-GHz band over 1409-m standard single-mode fiber without employing an additional dispersion compensation technique.
