Abstract
The paper introduces a new FEM technique for considering eddy-currents in m ulti conductor windings surrounded by magnetically nonlinear media. Traditi onal finite element formulation is combined with the so called elimination of inner nodes to achieve fast solution. The effectiveness and "behavior" o f the technique was investigated. The presented results are discussed and f inally concluded in the paper.
