Abstract
In this work we present the entropy functionals for dense gases that result s from a maximum entropy procedure, for two levels of description. In analo gy to this work, we review the case of dense mixtures. The resulting entrop y functionals serve as a starting point to derive in a systematic manner, F okker-Planck equations to model interacting Brownian particles.
