The upper bound for the entropy production of a dense gas is presented and
its connection with the so-called Fisher information measure is revised. Th
e relation with dissipative particle dynamics is analyzed, which serve to i
dentify the thermostat for the fluid system. The analogy with a turbulence
approach, a probabilistic approach to dynamical sytems, detailed balance fo
r dissipative particle dynamics and fluctuation dissipation theorems for re
laxing systems is presented.
