Isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium data for four binary systems methyl-2,2
-dimethylethyl ether + 2-methylpropan-2-ol, diethyl ether + ethyl-2,2-dimet
hylethyl ether, 2-methyl-2-butane + 2-methylbutan-2-ol, and diisopropyl eth
er + octane were collected at two temperatures using a modified Malanowski
still. The virial equation truncated at the second virial coefficient was u
sed to calculate the vapor-phase fugacity coefficients. The liquid-phase ac
tivity coefficient data were fitted to the van Laar, Wilson, and NRTL equat
ions.
