Abstract
The holotype of Inocybe catalaunica Sing. has been studied. It is conc luded that this is the same as Inocybe subbrunnea Kuhner, this last co nsidered by some authors as conspecific with Inocybe leiacephala Stunt z. As I. catalaunica was val idly described in 1947, it takes nomencla tural priority over the other two taxa.
