Experimental values of densities, viscosities, and refractive indices at 29
8.15, 303.15, and 308.15 K and while speed of sound at 298.15 K for the bin
ary mixtures of 1-chloronaphthalene with benzene, methylbenzene, 1,4-dimeth
ylbenzene, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, and methoxybenzene are presented over th
e entire mole fraction range. From these data, excess molar volume, deviati
ons in viscosity, speed of sound, isentropic compressibility, and Lorenz-Lo
rentz molar refractivity have been calculated. These results are fitted to
the Redlich-Kister type polynomial of the third degree to derive the binary
coefficients. The standard deviations are also estimated for the calculate
d and experimental data points.
