Abstract
Four new taxa are described in the glassy-haired Hyaloscyphaceae. Hyal opeziza echinatula Raitv. & Huhtinen is a Cistella-like, graminicolous species with cyanophilous spines on the glassy hairs. Hyalopeziza rac emosa Raitv. & Huhtinen is a herbicolous species with branched hairs o n the flanks. Hyalopeziza cadaverina Huhtinen & Raitv. is a wood-inhab iting species bearing resemblance to the genus Protounguicularia Raitv . & Galan. Urceolella peleana Huhtinen & Raitv. is a corticolous speci es related to U. pani (Velen.) Huhtinen. Hyalopeziza arctica Raitv. is synonymized with H. raripila (Hohn.) Huhtinen. Hyalopeziza schachdari ca Raitv. and H. archangelica Olsen & Sivertsen are shown to be conspe cific with H. latispora Raitv. Many of the taxa discussed are arcto-al pine in distribution.
