M. Paluch et al., Effect of pressure on fragility and glass transition temperature in fragile glass-former, J CHEM PHYS, 110(22), 1999, pp. 10978-10981
This paper presents the effect of pressure on liquid fragility in poly(bisp
henol A-co-epichlorohydrin), glycidyl end capped. On the basis of temperatu
re dependences of dielectric relaxation times measured for several differen
t pressures, the steepness or fragility index m(T) has been calculated. We
proved that liquid fragility is independent of pressure within experimental
error. The influence of pressure on glass transition temperature has also
been studied. It turned out that pressure dependence of glass transition te
mperature is well represented by the second-order polynomial. (C) 1999 Amer
