Abstract
This paper discuss the numerical computation of electromagnetic fields in a xisymmetric structures with piecewise constant dielectric medium and variab le boundary conditions. It is assumed that the fields are constant with res pect to the angular variable. The implementation is based on the boundary i ntegral equation method and a solution is found by the method of moments. I n this work special attention has been paid to the accuracy of the field co mputation near the boundaries. To this end, special integration techniques have been developed. In simple cases where comparisons are possible, the nu merical solutions agree very well with the analytical ones.
