This paper describes the Waterloo International Terminal project from the s
tage of producing detailed design data from the schematic layout, derived t
o satisfy the various business and functional requirements, through to the
construction process to produce, via the construction management route, a f
acility of high quality. It also reports on progress and cost control as we
ll as QA and safety aspects. Professional involvement was set out in the as
sociated paper(1) and respective responsibilities were continued throughout
this phase of the overall project.
