Abstract
A multilayer waveguide-grating optical component for laser cavities was pro posed, made, and investigated. It is found that corrugation of all the laye rs of the component makes it possible to obtain a high coefficient of narro w-band (with respect to wavelength) reflection of moderate-power light beam s. The possibility of the operation of the component in the laser cavity in narrow-band filter regime is noted.
