Abstract
Diplonevra termitophila sp. n. and D. termispinosa sp. n, are described fro m specimens attracted to a colony of Nasutitermes fumigatus in New South Wa les. Eutermiphora abdominalis females were collected from the galleries of the same colony. Some of the putative adaptations of these flies are discus sed. The records of termitophilous Phoridae from the Australasian Region ar e summarised.
