Abstract
Treatment of a vinyl resin with 9-BBN affords a polymer bound alkylborane t hat undergoes palladium-catalyzed Suzuki cross coupling reactions with a va riety of aromatic, vinylic and aliphatic halides. The mild reaction conditi ons are compatible with several functional groups and allow carbon-carbon b ond formation at non-activated positions. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Sc ience Ltd.
