Abstract
[NiL2](NO3)(2) (1) and [NiL2](CF3CO2)(2) (2) (L = N-2-methyldiethylenetriam ine] have been synthesized and their X-ray single crystal structures have b een determined. The triamines are ligated to Ni-II s-facially in (1) and me ridionally in (2), with a NiN6 chromophore in each complex.
