Abstract
Two hexadentate compounds incorporating 1,10-phenanthroline and four alkyla mino donors have been prepared. The protonation constants and the formation constants of dipositive ion (Mn2+, Co2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+) complexes have bee n determined in aqueous solution by pH titration at 25 +/- 0.1 degrees C an d I = 0.1 mol . dm(-3) NaNO3.
