Abstract
The kinetics of chemiluminescence decay was studied in the post-effect of t he short-wavelength (lambda = 254 nm) irradiation of aliphatic polyamides. It can be described quantitatively in the framework of the fractal model wi th the spectral dimensionality d(s) approximate to 4/3. The same value was previously obtained for the post-effect in the irradiation of polyamides by a longer wavelength light (lambda = 313 nm and lambda 360 nm), and it was inferred that this effect is independent of the irradiation wavelength. The results obtained in this work demonstrate thai the fractal models can be u sed to describe the kinetics of one of the most important steps of the oxid ation process.
