Abstract
The Sixth World Congress on Psychiatric Genetics (Bonn, Germany, October 19 98) provided a forum to review the linkage findings for psychiatric disorde rs on chromosome 6, Interest continues to center on 6p 24-22 for schizophre nia. Another area of possible linkage to both schizophrenia and bipolar dis order exists at 6q 21-22. Neither of these areas maybe considered confirmed at this time. Am. J. Med. Genet. (Neuropsychiatr.
