Abstract
Color-magnitude (R-I, I) diagrams are constructed for the two recently disc overed spherical dwarf companions of M 31: Pegasus dSph and Cassiopeia dSph . The location of the red giant branch is used to determine the distance mo duli of these galaxies: 24.(m)57 and 24.(m)25. In projection onto the sky, the new companions are at distances of 243 and 188 kpc from M 31, respectiv ely.
