Abstract
An 18-month-old, male American bison (Bison bison) was presented with 7- to
9-mm size nodules periorbital, perineal, and on the ventral surface of the
tail. Demodex spp. were identified from the exudate by microscopic examina
tion. Examination 6 mo later revealed that the infestation had nearly clear
ed without treatment.
