Abstract
Catalytic asymmetric aziridination of styrene by [N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)imin o]phenyliodinane was achieved by manganese and iron tetramethylchiroporphyr ins; opposite enantioselectivities were obtained with the two metal centers , and possible mechanisms are proposed to explain this unexpected result.
