Abstract
A study of the H-2 + H-2 reaction using a reduced dimensionality model and a full dimensional quasiclassical trajectory treatment has been carried out to investigate the validity of the model (already applied in the literatur e for quantum calculations) and to compare dynamical outcomes of exchange a nd dissociative mechanisms for elementary four-atom processes.
