Abstract
A cyclobutane was produced in one pot, when irradiated 1,4-diethynylbenzene and some o-quinones, such as tetrahalo-1,2-benzoquinones, phenanthrenequin one and acenaphthenequinone, in dichloromethane with 300 nm UV light.
