Abstract
[60]Fullerene-linked quarter-, octi-, and duodeci-thiophenes have been synt hesized, and their emission spectra demonstrate efficient intramolecular en ergy transfer from the thiophene moiety to the fullerene, whose rate consta nt largely depends on the chain length of the oligothiophene moiety.
