Abstract
The composite dorsal metacarpal flap with reverse flow can be very useful i n providing cover of complex defects of the dorsal side of the metacarpal p halangeal area. Two cases are presented in which a loss of skin and tendons was successfully covered with such a flap. Stable cover and good function is achieved with minimal donor site morbidity.
