Abstract
There have been many researches on fuzzy relational equations. In this pape r, under the general framework of fuzzy matrix theory, we first introduce r anks and regularity properties of fuzzy matrices. Then for a regular matrix A is an element of M-n (F), we study the generalized inverses of A and the solutions of a fuzzy equation x.A = b. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Scie nce B.V.
