Abstract
The sociodemographic patterns among minority ethnic groups in the UK are ch anging. The younger, and in some instances British born, minority ethnic po pulation appears to suffer from higher rates of some and lower rates of oth er psychiatric disorders. The exact patterns vary according to the ethnicit y. Some of the data and explanations for these variations are discussed in this article.
