Abstract
In this paper, global warming is an asymmetric transboundary externality wh ich benefits some countries or regions and harms others. We use a simple tw o-country model to analyze the effects of global warming on resource alloca tions, the global-warming stock, and national and global welfare. (C) 1999 Academic Press.
