Abstract
We study fluctuations of conductance of two connected in series dots in the Coulomb blockade regime. We find the shape of the conductance peaks and th e variance of the interpeak spacing. The latter provides information on the mesoscopic fluctuations of the ground state energy of a single partially o pened quantum dot, which are hard to measure directly. We show conductance of a double dot is unusually sensitive to magnetic field.
