Abstract
The design of low sidelobe radiation patterns for array antennas mounted ov
er aircrafts or ships is performed by an optimization procedure. The optimi
zation leads to a set of excitation coefficients that optimize conformal an
tennas over the vehicular platform considering both electromagnetic couplin
