Abstract
The name Cephalotaxus latifolia (W. C. Cheng & L. K. Fu) L. K. Fu is an inv alid combination because it was based on C. sinensis (Rehder & E. H. Wilson ) K. L. Li var, latifolia pi: C. Cheng & L. K. Fu, which is itself invalid because two specimens (male and female) were indicated as types in the prot ologue. The name is here validated at the rank of species, with the female specimen as the holotype.
