Abstract
High fidelity, polarised, optical phase conjugation via stimulated Brilloui n scattering of CW laser radiation in a multimode silica fibre is reported. A power threshold of similar to 70 mW and reflectivity of 70% were obtaine d in a 4.23 km length of fibre with a Nd:YAG laser. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scien ce B.V. All rights reserved.
