Abstract
Types of sulfur-containing compounds and their relative sulfur content in p
etroleum crudes and fractions were reviewed in this paper. Study methods of
hydrodesulfurization (HDS) were developed in laboratory and network and ki
netics of HDS were found to efficient in elucidating their reaction mechani
sm. TPR and TPS techniques were successfully applied for characterization o
f various HDS catalysts.
